The farm is run by David and Karen Park with a small team of long-standing employees who regularly go the extra mile to ensure everything gets done and gets done properly.

Our farm is located on the Northumberland coastal plain between Warkworth and Alnmouth – the East Coast Main line dissects the farm.

In addition to growing potatoes we also grow wheat, oil seed rape and beans.

David’s father and late grandfather, both called John Park, came to Buston in 1965 (their grandfather can be seen at the start of the video below taken at Buston in 1968). A lot has changed in farming since then but one thing that has remained constant is the desire to keep farming and to farm in the most environmentally and economically sustainable way possible. 

The move into growing heritage potatoes complimented our existing business which included selling maincrop potatoes into local pubs and restaurants.
